Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning can seem a daunting task, especially if you've fallen behind on regular cleaning and organizing! We picked the top 3 easiest ways to get going!

!) In the kitchen, wipe the surfaces top to bottom (walls, counters and appliances). You can use multi-surface wipe or damp rag with your favorite light cleanser - no scrubbing or specific focus this time around! Do a quick sweep or mop job on the floor to prevent build up from the freshly wiped surfaces.

2) In the bathroom, add one teaspoon of liquid soap and several drops of your favorite antibacterial essential oil (we like tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary, and peppermint). Mix one cup of baking soda and enough water to form a paste. Spread the paste on the dirtiest areas, let sit for a few minutes and wipe off - no heavy scrubbing now!

3) In the bedroom, clear out old clothes that you didn't wear the last year (or two) - consider selling them through sites like eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Vinted or Tradesy. Try bins and oversized beach bags to store items neatly on the floor of the closet or shelves (if you have shelf space).

Bonus method:

Take charge of the piles of paper by throwing away or shredding what is no longer needed, place the remaining papers in labeled envelopes and store those in a box (that they fit in without over flowing...).
